Reporting Tools and Analytics · Included in every plan

See the numbers behind every quote, shipment and invoice — not just the paperwork

Most logistics platforms give you a list of transactions and call it reporting. CargoCore turns every quote, invoice, bill, file, ocean and air shipment, receipt, release, work order and pickup/delivery order into cost, sale, margin, weight and volume analytics — sliced by client, service, commodity, port, carrier and time period, from a single day to a full year. And it’s all built in, at no extra cost.

Enterprise-grade reporting, without the enterprise invoice

Other systems gate their analytics behind a premium tier, a per-seat “insights” add-on or a data-warehouse upsell. We don’t. Every report on this page is part of CargoCore — on every plan, for every user, from day one of your free trial.

Full coverage

Report across every transaction type in your operation

Reporting isn’t bolted onto one module — it runs across your whole workflow, from the first quote to the final delivery order. Every type below can be measured, grouped, trended and ranked.

Quotes

Standard, inland and RoRo/breakbulk quotes — with the cost, sale and margin inside each one, down to the individual commodity and service line.

CountWeightVolumeSaleCostMargin

Invoices

Client-side revenue by client, shipper, consignee, service and port — ranked, trended and exportable, so you always know where your income is coming from.

CountAmount

Bills

Vendor and carrier cost by service — see who you spend the most with, in which lane, and how it trends month over month.

CountAmount

File Numbers

The whole job in one view: received and released cargo, sale from invoices, cost from bills and true margin — rolled up per file, counting only approved charges.

WeightVolumeSaleCostMargin

Ocean & Air Shipments

Volume moved by client, commodity, loading and discharge port and booking — measured on the vessel-voyage schedule so only cargo on a real sailing is counted.

CountWeightVolume

Material Receipts

Cargo received into your warehouse by client, shipper and consignee — with accurate weight and volume from the moment it lands.

CountWeightVolume

Material Releases

Cargo released out by client, release-from location and released-to party — the outbound side of your inventory, fully quantified.

CountWeightVolume

Work Orders

Warehouse and handling work by client, warehouse/location and the party it’s assigned to — so operational load is measurable, not anecdotal.

CountWeightVolume

Pickup & Delivery Orders

Door moves by client, shipper, consignee and carrier — the first and last mile, counted and weighed alongside everything else.

See every report the way the question demands

The same underlying numbers, presented four different ways — pick the one that answers what you’re actually asking, and switch between them in a click.

1

Spreadsheet

One row per transaction, every field in place — the detailed, auditable list you can sort, scan and export straight to CSV or Excel. This is your ground truth, and every chart drills back down to it.

2

Top 10 — Pie or Bar

Rank your best clients, busiest services, heaviest commodities or highest-margin lanes across the whole period, as a clean pie or horizontal bar chart. Instantly see who and what matters most, with the tail folded into an honest “Other”.

3

Trend

Watch count, weight, volume, sale, cost or margin move over time — a single line, or one line per client, service, commodity or port. Buckets from daily to yearly, with every series aligned on the same time axis so the comparison is fair.

Granularity

Slice it any way you need — down to a single line

Group by one dimension, filter by several more, then drill from any total to the exact transactions behind it. The combinations below are available across the transaction types that carry them.

Metrics that tie out

  • Count — how many quotes, shipments, orders or invoices.
  • Weight (MT) and Volume (CBM) — from one canonical calculation used everywhere, so grids and reports never disagree.
  • Sale, Cost and Margin — real money, from your invoices and bills, not estimates.
  • Margin % — aggregated correctly across the whole group, never a misleading average of averages.

From a single day to a full year

  • Daily — spot a single busy shipping day.
  • Weekly — ISO week-aligned, so week 1 is always week 1.
  • Monthly & Quarterly — the cadence of most reviews and board decks.
  • Yearly — the long view for growth and seasonality.

Questions

Reporting, answered

Does CargoCore charge extra for reporting or analytics?

No. Every reporting tool — spreadsheets, pie and bar charts, trends and the Ranked Table — is included in every CargoCore plan at no additional cost. There is no analytics add-on, no per-seat reporting fee, and no premium or enterprise tier you have to buy to unlock the full report set.

Which transaction types can I report on?

All of them: Quotes (standard, inland and RoRo/breakbulk), Invoices, Bills, File Numbers, Ocean Shipments, Air Shipments, Material Receipts, Material Releases, Work Orders, and Pickup & Delivery Orders. Reporting spans your entire workflow, from the first quote to the final delivery.

How granular can the reporting get?

Down to a single line item. Group and filter by client, shipper, consignee, carrier, service, commodity, loading and discharge port, booking number, vendor, warehouse/location and file number, then bucket by day, week, month, quarter or year. From any chart total you can drill back to the individual transactions behind it.

What makes the Ranked Table (Top per period) report different?

Most reports rank once across the whole date range. The Ranked Table ranks your groups independently inside each period, so you see who the top performers were this month versus last, how positions move over time, and when someone new breaks into the top ten. The remainder rolls into an honest “Other” row, and it displays both as a period-by-period matrix and as per-period mini bar charts.

Are the weight, volume and margin numbers reliable?

Yes. Weight (MT) and volume (CBM) come from a single canonical calculation used across the whole platform, so a report and an on-screen grid never disagree. Sale and cost come from your actual invoices and bills, and margin % is aggregated correctly across the group rather than averaging individual percentages.

Can I export the data?

Every report exports to CSV or Excel, and documents download as PDF. Your shipment, client and billing data is always yours to take with you — self-serve, whenever you need it.
